The ranch was all we could have hoped for plus the accommodation was superb. The many rooms were air conditioned and were tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds. The food was delicious and menus varied to suit all tastes. I was particularly impressed that the menu was the same for kids and not a substandard menu of junk food, which I have discovered being the case in a lot of resorts. Very much with the food was locally sourced with beef coming from the ranch itself. Our youngsters, aged 8 and 10 thoroughly loved the youngsters club. It gave them the possibility to make new friends and have time using part in numerous pursuits without having us. We also spent time as being a loved ones playing tennis, swimming and loved the organised nature walks. The horseriding was fabulous plus the horses have been matched to our abilities and were definitely all properly schooled and properly mannered. I was very happy doing the slower trail rides, but my husband and daughter wanted to go on some quicker rides and also the staff had been very happy to accommodate our wishes. We were told all about the day time to morning running of a ranch and how the guest ranch differs from a working ranch - we had been really glad we had chosen a guest ranch as it gave us a nice calming family vacation!
I find that horseback using has a special feeling to it.
